About Us
John Esper
Founder & Owner
John is hailed as one of the pioneers in water sports in the Turks and Caicos Islands. He has been the leader in the boating industry in Turks and Caicos for 24 years ever since he first arrived in 1999.
John established the first, and still the only, ferry service that brought passengers to and from North Caicos. When John founded the Turks and Caicos Ferry in 1999, the only means of transportation to other islands was by plane.
John is also a well know philanthropist who has given back to the community in abundance. He established luncheon programs at various public schools, providing foods daily for some of the less fortunate children attending the schools who are unable to purchase their own lunches. He is currently organizing and launching a scholarship program. A portion of every dollar spent at his companies will go to a charitable cause.
John has also worked closely with the labour department and established a training program where unskilled locals are invited to come and work at his water sports companies and get their training there. This has been a successful program and many have moved on with much work experience and have full time jobs.
John is proud of his accomplishments, both in business and in his personal life. He’s been married for 37 years to his childhood sweetheart, Kim. They have four wonderful boys, four grandchildren, and another one on the way.
